Sunday School

9:45 am – 10:30 am

Children

The goal of Sunday School for our children is to bring each child to maturity in Christ. We desire to come alongside parents in the task of leading their children to salvation, guiding them in a growing relationship with Jesus, and setting an example of obedience and faith for them to imitate.

We have chosen to use Great Commissions curriculum for ages two through grade five to ensure that the great foundational teachings of the Bible are taught systematically in a way that is consistent with our church’s theological teachings. In Junior High we are using curriculum which teaches young adults how to take more responsibility for their spiritual growth, teaches the major doctrines of the Bible, and teaches what scripture says about being part of a church. Senior High focuses on more in-depth Bible study as well as topics like sharing and defending your faith.

Children are grouped in classes so that each child is being taught at their level of comprehension, skills, and maturity. Current classes are Ages 2-4, Grades K-2, Grades 3-5, Junior High and Senior High. Classes follow the school year and break during the summer. They meet from 9:45- 10:45 am Sunday morning in the downstairs classrooms.

We are always looking for people who love children, want to pass on their faith, or want to help in the task of discipling young people. We have teachers and helpers who volunteer for a year, a quarter, team teach or substitute. If you would like to get involved but feel ill-equipped we will train you. We are flexible and will mold our plans to your availability. Be a part of the joy of discipling the next generation! Contact Pastor Craig Vick or Kelly Vick.
