There are many people who because of age, sickness, or disability are unable attend church on a regular basis. This leaves a need for worship and fellowship that only the Christian Church can really provide. This is the reason for our Sunrise ministry.
On the last Sunday afternoon of the month, a group from our church visits the Sunrise Assisted Living Center of Bellevue. We spend time visiting and getting to know the residents, and have a short service with the singing of hymns. No special talents are necessary to participate in this ministry—only a desire to love and serve others. Contact Sharon Gamble.
