Senior Pastor John Rantal

Pastor John is Bellewood’s new senior pastor. He has ministered at PCA churches in Colorado Springs, Colo., Los Angeles, Calif., and Dallas, Tex. Pastoring is John’s third career, having served as an executive with an international student ministry and previously as a public affairs officer in the U.S. Space Program.

John grew up primarily in Minneapolis, Minn., before attending Florida State University, then earning a B.A. in Broadcast Production at the University of Houston. He worked as a Protocol Officer at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Tex., during the Apollo moon landings, and at Edwards AFB, Calif., during Space Shuttle testing. Pastor Rantal next served on the leadership team of International Students, Inc. (ISI), a Christian outreach to international students attending American colleges. He received his MDiv from New Geneva Theological Seminary in Colorado Springs, where he is now a DMin candidate. John and his wife, Cindy, have been blessed with three grown children and four grandchildren.

Assistant Pastor Craig Vick

Pastor Craig has served various churches in Washington and California over the past twenty years. He came to know Jesus as Savior and Lord when he was nine years old, and received his M.Div from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. Pastor Craig is a gifted Bible teacher and enjoys philosophy, singing, and playing the harmonica in Bellewood’s Bluegrass Gospel Band. He and his wife Kelly are the Directors of Christian Education here; in addition, Kelly faithfully teaches children’s Sunday School and Craig leads the Sunday evening Bible study. They both consider it a great joy to serve God at Bellewood. Craig and Kelly have two wonderful children.
