Worship
Worship on the Lord’s Day is the most important and wonderful part of our week. Every Sunday, we gather together in the special presence of God to hear His Word, sing His praises, offer up our prayers, and eat and drink at the Lord's Table. It is in worship that God nurtures and strengthens us, and prepares us to live for His glory through the rest of the week.
At Bellewood, our order of service follows the pattern of covenant renewal: God calls us into His presence to worship Him as his people; He cleanses us by his grace when we confess our sins; He consecrates us to His service as we offer our prayers and gifts to Him and as He proclaims His word of life to us; He communes with us in the covenant meal, united as family at the remembrance of the cross; and He commissions us, sending us out with His blessing that we might be a blessing to others.
